First Trailer: Matt Damon's "Green Zone"

Posted by Patrick Hodges
When you reteam the star of the high-energy Bourne movies with the guy who directed him, you pretty much know that you're going to get some quality action and drama.
Though Green Zone may look similar in pace to the Bourne films, it is actually quite different.  The title refers to an area in Iraq, and the script was based on the bestselling book by Rajiv Randrasekaran.  It is being directed by Paul Greengrass, and it stars Matt Damon as Roy Miller, one of a pair of CIA agents who are on the trail of WMD's, along with a foreign correspondent who is following their mission.  Greg Kinnear, Jason Isaacs, Brendan Gleeson and Amy Ryan co-star.
I loved the Bourne movies, but movies centered on the Iraq War, the Middle East or terrorism have pretty much universally failed to find an audience.  I am actually quite intrigued by Green Zone, but will anyone else be?
Green Zone hits theaters on March 12, 2010.
