First Trailer - Adam Sandler in "Grown Ups"

Post by Patrick Hodges
Adam Sandler's last film, the overlong and overly vulgar Funny People, failed to impress audiences this past summer, but is looking to recapture the magic with Grown Ups, which will hit theaters on June 25th, 2010.
Bringing together a fair amount of comedic talent, Sandler stars as one of five childhood friends who reunite after thirty years to attend the memorial of the basketball coach who led them to the state championship.  While they reminisce and commisserate over Fourth of July weekend... ah, why spoil the surprise?  (And it's not like it's a state secret anyway.)
Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, and, of course, Rob Schneider, who seems destined to follow Adam around for the rest of his life, lead the cast in this film, which is directed by Dennis Dugan (You Don't Mess With the Zohan, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry).
I just don't know... it looks good on paper:  well-seasoned cast, good release date.  But has this crew worn out its welcome?
