I'd suggest Taxi Driver as the (obvious) double-feature, but I assume everybody here has seen it... so:

As long as I'm doing some revisionist double-feature recommendations:
Nowadays, I'd definitely say Defendor's most appropriate companion film would be the more recent Super. Very similar movies. If you love one, I imagine you'd love the other.

I'd pair The Assassination of Richard Nixon with Zodiac, since both are set around the same period. Another good choice is Milk (Penn is the gunman in one, Penn is the target in the other).
Everything on this post is strictly the opinion and only the opinion of Buscemi.

I think I might've already paired Zodiac with (the great) Memories of Murder.Buscemi wrote:I'd pair The Assassination of Richard Nixon with Zodiac, since both are set around the same period. Another good choice is Milk (Penn is the gunman in one, Penn is the target in the other).

Super is great, I still haven't seen Defendor, but I think it was finally released on DVD in France, I'll try and grab it. I'm not a fan of The Assassination of Richard Nixon.
